Benzie Home Health Care takes pride in providing our services at no charge to the seniors living in Benzie County.  Many seniors live on a very limited income and are not able to pay the true cost of the provided services, so we rely on the generosity of friends in the community to augment our bottom line.  As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, financial support is obtained through individual and business donations, in memoriam donations, planned giving, our annual Walk-A-Thon and other fundraising events, grants, Benzie area churches and civic organizations, Benzie County Community Chest, Benzie County Council on Aging, Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation, and contracts with Area Agency on Aging of NW Michigan and the State of Michigan Family Independence Agency.

Individuals can assist in our efforts through donations of time or money.  With the generous assistance of individuals and businesses in our community, we can continue to expand our services and outreach.

We also accept donated items, such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, commodes, incontinence products and other personal care items.

We have an ongoing wish list that includes a TV/DVD player for staff training, office plumbing and electrical updates, front office remodeling help and new carpeting.
